I can add listings but customer cannot Can't Post

I have a installation that is at least 2 yrs old. They have been logging in and adding, editing, etc., fine for the 2 years they've had it. I just got a message that the clerk logged in and when she tries to add listings or upload pictures, she gets " you are not authorized to view this page ". I logged in and added and deleted a listing with no trouble (using the same login and password as she did).

What should I check at her end?

Hi there,

Check to see if they've installed any new software recently -- specifically, virus scanner or firewall software. If not, check to see if they've added a physical firewall, or changed their network setup at all.

I'd be willing to bet that one of the two comes up with a hit. The solution is the same for both, but sadly non-specific -- configure the software/hardware to allow whatever it is that's being disallowed... which, unfortunately, will likely require sitting down and fiddling with it to see why it's blocking Listings Manager. :)

Re: [Donna] I can add listings but customer cannot [In reply to] Can't Post

Ended up having to drive to their office.
Listing Manager had timed out, but browser was showing the Listing Editor screen, so it looked like she was entering data, but she was actually communicating with the login prompt. If she had just restarted the browser or rebooted, it would have cleared up, but, nooo . ... she had to keep trying and send for me
