Hi David, Thanks for posting. Currently, Listings Manager cannot upload anything other than jpg and gif files and we don't have an add-on that supplies any additional upload functionality. What we've suggested in the past is to have an external upload form (they're pretty easy to find as free scripts) that you can even link via the Listings Manager admin form (the templates can be modified to include a link). Once that's done, you could add a field where you enter the URL of the file. You could then pre-set the code for a link on the template so that it would publish using the URL you entered into the form. Would something like that work for you? Let us know if you have any other questions! ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Thanks for the help !!! Phpfusion lets you pick the type of file (extensions) that can be uploaded in their forums .txt .pdf etc ... Normally attachments in forums are .gif or .jpg ... Forum (file attachments) in Phpfusion are stored in the (forums/attachments) folder and duplicate filenames have a number added to the end of the name to prevent overwriting anyone else's attachment. I can setup a (Private Group) forum for the realtors / homeowners to allow document or pdf attachments. I would also be able to leave a message explaining how to insert the correct code into the $field$ for my clients. They could just copy/paste the code from the forum to their listings in RM and change the filename only. It should make it real simple for the addition of attachments. Phpfusion is free source code and isn't hard to install and wouldn't be a bad addon to the RM website because you need a questions and answers section anyway. Thanks for the Input , I hope this helps anyone else wanting to allow attachments !!!!!

Hi. We have a similar issue with a client who likes realty manager, but must be able to attach a file to show spreadsheet data for investment properties. Attaching a pdf or xls file would be ideal. The patches shown on this thread look too clumsy. Is there any other simple way around it? Alternatively, we were told that CMS builder doesn't have the 75 field limit and can attach files. Can that be configured in a way similar to realty manager? How would we go about doing it with CMS Builder? Are there any templates or documents related to using CMS builder to provide similar functionality to realty manager? Thanks.

Hi nburkha1, There is no way around the file upload issue for Realty Manager, but as you suspected CMS Builder can be set up in virtually the same way. The software actually comes with some sample realty templates, and there are also presets for realty sections in the software itself. Those should serve as a good basis for setting up a realty site using CMS Builder, and of course we're also here to help you set it up if you need assistance or have questions. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
