Embedding a category

Hi there, Is there a way to embed a product from another category into a category listing? Here is what I would like to do: I am working on a website that sells copper products. I would like to cross merchandise products throughout his listings. For example, the link below is a rough draft of a product in the "kitchen sinks" category. In the empty container(bottom left), I would like to embed a preview of a product that goes with it. In this case, a copper drain. Is this something that can be done using listing manager? If so, are they any tutorials on doing this? Preferably, I would like to set it up where my client can add them using the admin panel. If not, I would settle for just hardcoding it in ( which I am not sure how to do either). Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://www.premiercopperproducts.com/listman/listings/l0001.html Thanks in advance, Jon

Hi Jon, I think there might be a way to do this that would allow your client to edit the featured product there. What you'd need to do is set up a field for your listings called "Related Product" or something similar. The only thing that would be entered into this field would be the related product listing's number. This field would work with an <iframe> tag or SSI on your listing template that would include the contents of another listing onto your page. You can use the search engine in the software to load custom templates for this listing in order to control the design for that area of the page. Once that's set up, the client only needs to change the listing number in the "Related Product" field in order to load a different related product onto any given listing's page. Let us know if you'd like any more information on this. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
