Duplicate field entry check

Hello, Seems odd, but why isn't there (or is there?) a duplicate entry field check in the "Listing Editor" fields? Its there in the "User Manager" for dupicate check on user/pass. Its useful for sites using "listing id#s" and "MLS#s". Thanks.

Hi, A duplicate entry field check isn't an included feature with Realty Manager. We actually haven't had a request for one before. Many of the details entered in the listings fields might need to possible be duplicated for other listings (city, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc) with the exception of "listing id#s" and "MLS#s". Any one elses thoughts? Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it doesn't need to be on all the fields of course, but only a few, or the ability to place a dupe check on a few. I want to setup user/pass logins, where the Listing ID# would be their user name. Thats one good reason to have it. Another is Listing ID#s in general for the super admin, saying that the ID# is already used saves some error time, in case and ID is entered twice by accident.

Hi again, Good points :) I have added duplicate entry check to our feature requests list for Article Manager for our developers to review. Appreciate the feedback. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com
