Code for Search Listing Items

HI, I have the code working for the search page for the automanager. Meaning, when they choose a make of car, it will drop down a list of models that match the make. It's a dynamic drop down menu. I've linked each to fields that I have setup within the admin. Such as field23 being make and field24 being the model. The search works great, and I have gotten it to search and find all models when the make is selected and any is chosen for the model. Now, the problem lies with the dealer inputing the models into the listing editor. I can have them list the car themselves, but that opens the door to misspellings and the such. So, I would like to have them use the drop down menu to choose, similar to the home page. I really don't want them to have to sort through every model available from every make, so I would like this to be dynamic as well, and don't mind doing the programming for it. But, Where can I find the code for the way the options and fields are listed? Is there a better way to make this happen that you can think of? Thanks for your help. Tyler Watkins Myrtle Beach, SC

Hi Tyler, Thanks for posting. I'm not sure you'll be able to achieve this with Auto Manager, but if you wanted to attempt it you'd need to modify the "_listing_add.html" and "_listing_edit.html" templates in the /templates/interface directory. Unfortunately it's difficult for us to support interface template modifications, but you're welcome to try setting this up. If you do get this going, drop us an email - we'd love to take a look at it! ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
