Hi Tommy, Thanks for your post. Just to clarify: htmlArea is a handy add-on which would give users control over the presentation of the information they input into Realty Manager (e.g. they could make some text bold, underline, change it's colour etc.). This would be added into the interface itself. HTML, on the other hand, is the actual "language of the web". They're actually quite different! But, yes - right now, in order to modify the templates and make your site look the way you want it you'll need to use HTML. If you need any help with this, just post here! Ben interactivetools.com

Thanks Ben, I’m sorry, I should have been more detailed with my question. If I create a description of a "car" in word that includes web site links and mailto links and save it as an Html document, and then "copy and paste" this into Realty Manager as content, will it work or will Realty Manager only except plain text? Thanks again Tommy

Hi Tommy, Yes, with the next version of Realty Manager (and Auto Manager), htmlArea will come built-in. So, you'll be able to do precisely what you're asking: by copying and pasting HTML into htmlArea, all links, etc will be preserved. But for the time being, if you paste links into any of Realty Manager's fields the link info will be lost. Ben interactivetools.com

Hi I have been playing around with htmlarea and auto manager and i have found that when i format text and include a direct link to a inserted image like visit interactive tools and copy the html from htmlarea and paste the html into a text field hfield8 in the Homepage Editor publish the page and all the links work and the image apears. In Setup Homepage Fields, hfield 8 is already set up to receive this info I hope this helps. Great tool. JIm
