Backing Up Can't Post

Is there a tutorial or forum post that explains how to safely backup your database of properties in case something crashes?

Re: [buscar] Backing Up [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi buscar,

Thanks for posting!

There isn't an automatic process to back up Listings Manager though you can just download files from the server to your local computer periodically to back everything up. That said, you don't actually need to download everything in the /listman/ folder so here are the folders that you'll want to back up (including the files within them):

/data/
/homepages/images/
/listings/images/
/templates/

Also, you'll want to make a backup of the /exec/ directory if you've modified the vconfig.dat or config.ini within it but you should only need to do this once and not every time you backup as these files don't change.

I hope this helps! Smile
