Auto Manager - All listings index page

Is there any way to have the all listings page publish the listings by year? Right now it just publishes entries I guess in the order they were signed up from newest to oldest. I know I can do this with the search engine, but I've customized my all listings page and would like to have use of it due to search engine spiders that can't follow or execute a cgi search, not to mention, I like the way it looks Here is my all listings page: http://www.corvettetraderonline.com/am/listings/ If I have to use the search feature, I can't have it display like the above link because I am limited to 1 search result template. Right now it's not really user friendly because all of the listings are just kind of (from the end user view) thrown on there at random. Any ideas? Scott Need ImageMagick? GD.pm? Hi Scott, The listings index by default is displayed in alphabetical order. The only way that I'm aware of to customize your listings results is to make use of the search engine which you already know about. Realty Manager currently can only make use of the one search result template. We do have on the Realty Manager feature request list the option to use multiple search results templates similar to the way Article Manager can. Hopefully this option will be added in the future. For the spiders that can't follow the cgi search would it be a possibility to leave a listings index link for them to follow? It could be made less prominent (or even not visible) than the link that site visitors would use to see listings via the search engine results. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

Well, I thought of that, but that still leaves me with the issue of not being able to use my "all listings" page AND have it look like I want it to. I know how I could do it, but I think it would violate my terms of service of using the AM script. I could copy the search.cgi to search2.cgi and modify the template name inside that script to _search2_results.html. Then I could link to the search2.cgi and customize the new template. This would leave me the ability to have links where people could sort my listings by year or price and still be able to use the look I want with my template. Can I do this or would this be a violation of the terms? Thanks, Scott Need ImageMagick? GD.pm? You need to GetStacked! Listings Manager friendly Cheap Web Hosting only $5.95 a month!

By the way, the obvious answer would be yes, it would violate my terms, but when I asked if I could disable the "homepage editor", I was told which script contained that portion and that if I edited it, that it would be completely unsupported if I screwed it up. That would be great if I could do that in this case too. Thanks Scott Need ImageMagick? GD.pm? You need to GetStacked! Listings Manager friendly Cheap Web Hosting only $5.95 a month!
