Ok... You can have 2000 listings...correct? Can you have 2000 agents with only 1 listing each? If not, what is the maximum number of agents you can have for the 2000 listings? Frank Beier Dynamic Webs

The "2000 listings" is not a hard-coded limit. Rather, it is a general guideline where an average web server may experience heavier performance loads. (Average here has the same meaningfulness as "average person"). In other words, if you have a more powerful web server, then you can handle more listings. The underlying data handling for agents and listings are the same, so we can also add "2000 agents" to the general guidelines. The 2000-agents@1-listing-each scenario is theoretically possible. But keep in mind that there are other non-RM components will be challenged with these numbers. For example, a search-by-agent's pull-down menu with 2000 names may distress older browsers on older machines. The mySQL support planned for Article Manager 2 will change all this of course. /Dave Lo
