Upload Folder problem

IT Staff and friends, I am trying to change the upload's folder to get it out of the cmsAdmin directory. I have a client that is concerned that the path to the images they upload shows cmsAdmin. I changed the 'Upload URL' in 'General Settings' to be /img/uploads/ , which if I am reading the documentation correctly should do the trick and place all uploads in the /imgs/uploads/ directory off of the website root. When I upload an image in the WYSIWYG editor the image does not appear in the Uploaded Files dialog box, but only shows the typical missing image box with the red 'X'. if I go ahead and click on the insert link, even though the image isn't showing, the WYSIWYG editor completes the task and the image url is displayed as /img/uploads/moviepopcorn.jpg just what I would expect, but there is no image in the page. After looking in the /img/upload/ directory, the file does not exist...in fact I can't find it anyplace. Am I missing something? Is the WYSIWYG editor upload not reading the Upload URL from the General Settings, or Am I way off base? BTW using v2.13... CMSB Rocks! Thanks, Kurt
