Unzip files problem

Hi, Never had a problem unzipping files before but I'm having a problem with the cmsbuilder_1_20 zipped folder. I'm using Windows Vista and when I try to extract the files, it fails because there are files and folders with the same name - e.g. cmsAdmin folder has same name as cmsAdmin file. So it won't extract them. Help? Thanks. --------------------- UPDATE: --------------------- Problem solved (I think so far). Downloaded WinZip and used that to unzip files. Worked without a hitch. All files seem to have been extracted. Now I just have to upload and see if CMS Builder works.

Thanks for the update. Glad it's working now. It's really strange, there shouldn't be duplicate filename or directory names. If anyone else runs into this or it comes up again feel free to post on this thread and we can look into it more. Otherwise, just try the free program at winzip.com. Thanks! It has always had the extra files since the first version - We've always ignored them. I've attached a screenshot of how it looks when you open the zipped file using Windows Vista. Doesn't show those on a Mac though.

The Perl module we use to create zips (Archive::Zip) creates entries for directories. I guess Vista's build in zip program doesn't understand those. I've updated our release builder program to not do that for future releases. Thanks for reporting that, and let us know if you spot anything else out of the ordinary! :) Thanks!
