Image issue after moving Listing Manager to CMS Can't Post

We have successfully moved 2 different Listing Manager Databases to CMS Databases.

One issue with the records that were transferred occurs with images that were moved and not actually uploaded using the upload feature. All the images work correctly except in the modify screen in the little upload box where you can drag and drop the order of images. There the records that were transferred just have a small line instead of a preview image. The image shows when you click on the line, but it is impossible to tell what the image is. Is there a way to fix this?

Re: [4cdg] Image issue after moving Listing Manager to CMS [In reply to] Can't Post

After looking around the forum, It seems that any image that was not uploaded but rather moved on the server only picks up the width of 50, (height is not set) that is set on line 98 of cmsAdmin\lib\menus\default\uploadList.php

seems images that are uploaded through the CMS set height proportionally.

not sure if this is the issue, but if you could set a height in here or force a height that might fix it.

Hi,

The value of 50 is only used for the preview of the image as it appears in the upload list.

When you view those images on your site, do they appear correctly? If your thumbnails have not been proportioned correctly, you can re-create them at any time. Take a look at this article:
http://www.interactivetools.com/kb/article.php?Resize-thumbnail-images-23

Hope this helps

The upload list is what is not displaying correctly, for the images that were moved into the cms via a db transfer and copying the physical images to the correct directory on the server.

They display as a 50 pixel line in the upload list. Images display correct everywhere else and I have 3 different sets of thumbnails setup and they work correctly too.

Any records created in the cms since the initial move the upload list displays correctly.

I need to know how to make the upload list display correctly for records that were moved into cms manually.

Hi,

Without actually looking at the images in question. My first through would be to re-create all thumbnails. Since images uploaded after the move are working correctly, re-create the thumbnails should ensure that all the images in the section are uniform.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Thanks
