Earlier Dates Needed

Working on a new project today using new v.1.18. What a lot of changes since the last time I installed CMSB. Very exciting. However, I do need to offer selectable dates earlier than the default 1971. Can you point me to the right file to adjust the starting dates offered? I might have to go back to the late 1800's! Could be a long date list... J.

Hi Jayme, I've switched the "year range" fields in the field editor to text fields (from pulldowns) for 1.19. Here's how to make that change now: - backup (or rename) this file: /lib/menus/database/editField.php - replace it with the attached file Note that MySQL doesn't support years before 1000: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en/datetime.html Hope that helps! Let me know if you run into any other problems with this. Dave Edis - Senior Developer interactivetools.com
