Membership Plugin Can't Post

Hi

i jsut want to make sure i am right with this before i go to far.

I have this new project for 4 websites for childcare websites and more to come but they need a membership area where the parents can login to the website and see only information on their own child that the staff post so i was thinking of setting up a multi section with all the information and then how when the parent logs in they will taken to their own page inside the members area so that no other person can see it as it will have personal information and stuff for them to see.

am i right in saying this will work with the membership plug in.
Thanks

Craig

Re: [kcmedia] Membership Plugin [In reply to] Can't Post

Craig,

Yes, you're right that you can easily restrict members to specific pages.

One approach might be to restrict their access to pages that they have authored by changing the parameters in the "// create accesslist entry" code area of the signup form.

You could also set the member access manually, or in another part of an approval process.

There are lot's of specific examples on how to modify the membership plugin in my CMSB Cookbook http://www.thecmsbcookbook.com

Sounds like an interesting project,
