I recently took over a web admin job at a company that uses article manager-- I've found that the program is overall a very helpful tool, but I've found some areas where either I'm falling short of understanding how to use it or perhaps the upgraded versions address some of the issues? I am running version 1.29-- I would love to upgrade. However, the previous admin mentioned some reason (which I dont know what) that we couldn't upgrade our version due to some sort of content conflicts? Does anyone know of any reasons why my current setup could be compromised by upgrading? ArtMan has been a KEY role in how things are run here, I don't want to risk messing anything up-- so if anyone has any input/suggestions about how to proceed, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for a great program- I look forward to figuring out how to streamline the process. The program has great potential! I'm sure to be visiting here often! ~jeff

Hi Jeff, Thanks for the post! There shouldn't be any issues with the content itself when you upgrade from one version to another so I can't see this being an issue here. That said, I'll always recommend making a back up of all of your data before upgrade. This way you can try the upgrade and if anything doesn't go the way you had expected, you can just use the files you had backed up. I hope this helps!
