skype issues with html code in articles Can't Post

In the articles we place online we add phonenumbers, skype finds any phonenumber in article manager and turns it into a clickable link. I have turned off that option on my PC and on all the other PC's that use article manager. The Skype code keeps coming back! I have deleted the code from the articles by hand, but as soon as I turn my back, there it is back again. What to do? I have asked the Skype people, but guess what: no answer.Crazy

Re: [nelleke] skype issues with html code in articles [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there,

Hmm, that's definitely a bit odd! Unfortunately, since that's something coming from outside of Article Manager, I'm not sure we're going to be able to help much.

I did some googling and found these articles, they might help you disable that?

I hope this helps. :)

Re: [Donna] skype issues with html code in articles [In reply to] Can't Post

I finally solved the problem. Even though I had disabled all the options relating to this, I had to remove Skype from all the PC's that we work on with ArtMan2. When reinstalling you have to make sure that the options are turned off. Now it seems to be fine (so far so good). Skype adds a big chunk of HTML on every page where there is a phonenumber. Something they don't tell you about. Sly
