question regarding SQL Can't Post

OK... maybe I'm just confused here, but I've converted over to SQL, but I was under the impression that the flat files would not still be stored in the file folders. However, I'm still seeing new article files being placed into teh folders. Is this supposed to be doing this, or am I doing something wrong here?

PistolPL:

Thanks for the post. The data files are indeed converted into - though not all of them (article, category, and account data are all moved, but the database schema and program settings are kept in *.dat.cgi files).

The .shtml files are still generated by the program. This ensures they'll be spidered by any search engine and that they'll put the smallest load possible on your web server (since they're not dynamic) and serve up to website visitors as fast as possible.

Hope that clears it up, it sounds like you've done everything right!
