I just installed artman2....I must have a settings/permissions issue..when I look at the preview of the welcome to article manager article..all is well...but if I go to the index.shtml....the header, footer and layout is completely different. I have the stylesheet and CSS file set to 777 permissions..but that didnt help. Site is http://acaduceus.com/acaduceus/index.shtml Thanks!

Hi Larrian, It looks like the link you mentioned doesn't work, but one thing to doublecheck is that your server allows SSI's -- not having SSI's can throw off the look a lot. One way to see if that's the case is to view the source of your page, and if you see things like this: <!--#include virtual="/path/to/a/file.shtml" --> ...then it's not parsing SSI's. (If it IS parsing SSI's, you won't see that code -- it'll be parsed.) You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to enable SSI's for files with a .shtml file extension, and they should be able to fix that up. :) Donna

Donna..this is what I see... <!--#include virtual="/acaduceus/publish/include_siteHeader.shtml" --> so does that mean the SSI is not enabled for the site? Thanks..Larrian

Hi Larrian, Yep, exactly. :) Contact your hosting provider, they should be able to turn that on for you. Server Side Includes are pretty common. Donna
