Hi TnMountainMan, Thanks for posting! It's tough to tell what might be happening here without the full context of the page that this error is appearing on. Would it be possible to attach a copy of the affected page to a forum post for us? I look forward to hearing from you. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi, Thanks for the post! You've mentioned that the issue here is related to the "Home" link. Is Home currently linking to the menu_top.shtml file that you've mentioned here? If so, what you'll want to do is double check how this page is being created. It seems to me that there's a publishing rule in Article Manager that is creating this page, but this publishing rule isn't actually set to "a list of articles" as the rule type. This is the only type of publishing rule that will recognize the placeholder "articleList" so you'll want to look into how this menu_top page is being created through Article Manager. I hope this helps! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Yes, Home is currently linking to the "menu_top.shtml" file. I've attempted to set it to "a list of articles" as the rule type and it says its set (see screenshot), but it still shows the same on the page (as the previous screenshot shows). Any idea why? Thanks. TnMountainMan

Hi, Thanks for these additional details! Based on the screenshot you've provided, the publishing rule in Article Manager is publishing this file for the home page: http://softlightonline.com/protected/artman2/publish/index.shtml Whereas your "Home" link is pointing to: http://softlightonline.com/protected/artman2/publish/menu_top.shtml It seems that the publishing rule is creating the correct file, the template is just pointing to the wrong place. I'd suggest checking the template file that is creating your category list to ensure that the "Home" link is pointing to the right place ($published.globalIndex.url$). I hope this helps! Thanks Mike. What file "exactly" is it that I need to check and change if needed and where is it located? I've looked at the files and they all seem to be correct for this. TnMountainMan

While I'm not too sure which files you might be using in this case, the default category list template can be found here: /templates/categoryMenus/categoryMenu.html You'll be looking for the link tag for "Home" or "$my.homepageName$" in this template. If you'd like me to take a look at this myself, just reply to the last email we'd sent you about this site with your FTP details and I'll take a look at this for you. I hope this helps!
