Uploads Going to the Wrong Directory in AM 2.02

Hi, After the 2 > 2.02 upgrade I noticed when uploading an image it was going to: /uploads2/1/<imagename>.jpg This is the location chosen by AM during the upgrade. Following the first upgrade to 2.0, I had changed the upload path to drop that last subdirectory: /uploads2/<imagename>.jpg Dropping the /1/ Under Admin > Server Settings Upload Directory /public_html/elements/uploads2/ Publish Directory /public_html/site/ Yet the program keeps uploading to Upload Directory /public_html/elements/uploads2/1/ Why? How can I change this? H

Thanks for the email, Hollyvalero! That 1/ folder is created automatically by the program. Some sites upload so many files that they will eventually have some danger of exceeding their operating system's limit for the number of files permitted in a single directory. This automated system will create more subfolders (2/, 3/) before that can happen. Dave researched many operating systems for their file limit. I don't recall what he set the threshold at, but it's conveniently below any hard-limit that we could discover. Is there something that you're trying to do that this system interferes with? Hmmm. Okay. My interest is mainly in making it easier to reference images later... as in, where did I put that? images/1/ images/2/ etc. But that's not a deal breaker. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't busted. H
