Trusted Writer Reports

Hello, We have many Trusted Writers and limit their access to only one category each. Is there some way to generate a simple report that would show a list of these Trusted Writers? Could it be done via some type of a search? Can a Publish Rule apply to data in the accounts database? Thanks, jferry

Hi jferry, Thanks for the post! At the moment I'm not sure if this can be set-up, however we're going to take a closer look at this for you and once we have some updated details we'll update this post. :) In the meantime if you have any other questions please feel free to ask! Hi there, Can you give me a few more details about how you want this to be displayed? Currently, the user manager will have a list of all of the users, but I suspect you want a little more information than this. If you can expand a bit on what details you want on this list, I'll see what we can come up with. :) Donna

Hi Donna, Our need has changed slightly. What I'm looking for now is a way to display the names of all those categories that each user has access to on their user preferences screen. I modified the userPreferences template adding the following code: <tr> <td>Categories<br>$categoryRights$</td> </tr> The output displays results like: Categories 4,3,2 My guess is the output is generated from the category.pm file. Would it be possible to list the output like: Categories Sports Movies News Thanks, jferry

Hi there, At this point, I don't believe that's possible. Unfortunately, we can't offer too much support on modifying the interface templates as doing that can cause some pretty major problems in how the software works. Feel free to make changes, but make sure you make a full backup first (including your database), just in case! Donna
