Hi Guys My current installation is version 2.02 and has been running fine on the current server, however it's time for a move to a new server, am I correct the latest version gets mentioned with MySql here a lot on the forum. I dont use ssi on my current install and I use .php for all files Is the new/latest version MySql ready? is the upgrade FREE? Obviousley I have a lot of modified templates and would like to know what is the best way forward to make the move as seamless as possible, I don't have the initial software anymore so can't just install it on the other server, I will need to just upload and hope! Would I need to download ALL files and folders first or just cgi-bin/data then run admin to publish all files and folders on the new server. Is there a basic list of todo Thanks for any help/pointers

Hi wheelie_34, The latest version of Article Manager does allow you to use a MySQL database to store data. All of our software upgrades are done by donation, so you can choose the amount you'd like to pay for the upgrade: http://interactivetools.com/upgrade/ You don't need the original installation files to complete your server move - you can just copy the Article Manager files that are currently on your server. For more information on completing a server move, take a look at this forum post by Mike: http://www.interactivetools.com/iforum/gforum.cgi?post=61506;search_string=server%20move;t=search_engine#61506 Let us know if you need anything else! ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
