Template for Placeholders Page

On the page for setting up placeholders, I'm trying to add a dropdown menu that will appear next to each of the Placeholder values. This dropdown menu will contain a list of images that is pulled from a directory on my server. When a user selects one of the images in the dropdown menu, it will propogate into the Placeholder Value textarea. I'm using php to pull the list of image files from the directory and then place them into a php variable. Then, I will pass that php variable into a javascript variable which will be used to propogate the dropdown menu next to each of the placeholder rows. To get the php to work, I will need to save the placeholders.html file as a placeholders.php file. The thing I can't figure out is when the placeholders page is pulled up in AM, how does it point to the placeholder.html file to create the template for the placeholder page? I need to change this so that it points to the placeholder.php file to get the template info. Is this possible?

Hi there Thanks for posting! I would imagine something like this will work but it isn't something I would know exactly how to setup. I imagine it will use something along the same lines as the directory.cgi script that is included with this Page Publisher tutorial. http://www.interactivetools.com/products/pagepublisher/tutorials/wysiwyg_image_upload.html You can download the zip file and take a look at the file. Now, you'll want to keep in mind that we don't really support interface changes like this as it can break key functionality. You'll want to make sure you have some backups of your files before diving in . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
