"Super Editor" Status?

Hello, All Looking ahead, is there any chance me might one day be able to create a user with "Super Editor" access rights? Most of the category index pages on my AM2 site provide information about the articles to be found in each category. The content is added directly to the index page - in much the same way as you would edit an ordinary article. Much of the information needs updating on a regular basis. Unfortunately, due to the way the current user system works, "Editors" are not able to edit category pages. To my mind this leaves a bit of a hole in the site admin process. Either the Editor must be upgraded to Administrator status (giving them direct control over all other aspects of the site) or they must ask the real Administrator to upgrade the category page on their behalf. What's needed is some sort of "Super Editor". This would allow users to edit category pages whilst at the same time restricting access to the Admin functions. Any chance we might see such an option in a future update? :0) Perchpole

Hi, Donna - I certainly hope so. I'm using AM2 to underpin one of the largest charity websites in the UK. It's doing a great job but it would be nice to be able to provide more and more effective control to the people who run it. Speaking of AM2 upgrades, when can we expect the next version? It's been a while. :o/ Perchpole
