Secure Login - Is It Possible?

I've got a client that is extremely security conscious and the thought of allowing write access to the root directory wigs him out. It would make him feel tremendously better if the AM login was secured, via a login with an https URL or by some other means. I could have sworn I saw a post about this very topic but have searched the forum for nearly an hour to no avail. So, does anyone know how to lock down the login a bit more?

Hi there, Sure -- you could either use an .htaccess file to require a second level of usernames & passwords, or set it up on an https server. Your hosting provider would be the ones to talk to about that, it won't bother Article Manager at all. Also, if he's not crazy about having the root directory writable, you could always leave it in the default publish folder (or any other folder you want) and setup the main index file to include the Article Manager index page. I hope this helps. :) Donna
