Having a strange problem... * Creating a new article - no problem * Editing an article creating today - no problem * Editing an article created "yesterday," and I get this error message upon trying to save it. Please select another filename, an existing file has the same name that this article will be published as. Existing file: .... Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to get this thing live by tomorrow AM - and I've still have a ton of work to do. Best Regards Mike

One of your publish rules is using the same name for multiple files. So there is always a file in the way when you try and publish. Look at the filename in the error and find the corresponding publish rule. Then make sure it publishes with a unique name for each article (eg: not article.html, but <artFile> or article_<artNum>). Hope that helps. Dave Edis - Senior Developer interactivetools.com

Oops, I think the forum ate your response. Can you post that again? All I see is my own text quoted. :) Dave Edis - Senior Developer interactivetools.com

That was just one more strange thing happening to me today ;-) In any case... I spoke to Ross at the office regarding the problem and have submitted a support request. I have have checked everything I can think of - even trying to compare it to my other two installs - and everything appears to be OK. I am hoping a new set of eyes will point out the "," I forgot or something else stupid ;-) - Mike
