Removing Text before publishing?

Hi, I have some page break changes in our content, where we find a --page-- we page break. The problem is, this has found its way out into our RSS feed. Since the --page-- markers are just part of the content, it makes sense. I tried playing with the :replace(old, new) function but as I understand it, that probably won't work. Any tips on how I can cleave these --page-- tags out of my content when publishing via RSS? Something I can add to the RSS template? Thanks in advance!

Hi Tony_Holm, As far as my knowledge goes, I don't think that there's anything you can add to your RSS template to remove that text. Unfortunately the ":replace()" function in Article Manager will only work for exact matches, so you can't use this to replace certain pieces of text in your content placeholder. Usually I'd advise the use of javascript in this situation, but I don't think that's possible to do on RSS files. Let us know if you have any other questions. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
