Question about headlines

Hello everybody, I'm posting a question here that I cant figure it out, hope someone can help. I'm using a regular index.html page and I'll like to show the latest 3 headlines for 2 of my categories on my index page. When I used to work with Article Manager 1 (yup, still use it on a couple of websites) I worked with a line like this to make that happen:
<!--#include virtual="/cgi-bin/am1/exec/search.cgi?fields=art_field8&keyword=1&cat=1&perpage=5&template=search%2F_search_results_mainpage2.html" --> and that made that happen. Right now I do have a client with AM2 and I need to create the same thing for my client so any advice will be really helpful as I'm kind of lost with the rules and that kind of stuff. Jesus PS I cant change my index.html page per other things we're using on it, so we just need to display the latest 3 headlines for 2 of our categories. Hi, Any chance to get a clue on this matter? Im searching the forums and cant find a how to with this matter, I beleive it will be something easy, I just need some guidance and I'll try it. Thanks again for any help. Jesus
