Question About AM

This is somewhat of a pre-sales question and with all the rave reviews I see here, I want to make sure of a few items. I am looking to do a website where the author signs up and posts their own articles. Plus they can upload pdf files. I am not running an affiliate site and content should be kept strictly on the site. Can the software accomodate several categories and sub categories of articles, and will it allow uploading of pdf files? If so, how will these be indexed, by data and topic and by category? I am trying to find where online a sample site or two exist with this script to review this but I cannot find. I am very particular in my needs for this site I wish to develop. Thanks.

Hi redskins_43, Thanks for posting! Article Manager does support categories and subcategories for articles, and you can upload PDF files through the software. File uploads are associated with individual articles. User accounts do have to be created manually in the software. You can see some sites that are using Article Manager here: http://www.interactivetools.com/products/articlemanager/clients.html Let us know if you have any other questions. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi there! Article Manager is written in Perl. Why? Well, it's the language we chose at the time. In the long run, the language doesn't really matter -- Article Manager is written in such a way that the programming language is irrelevant as you never touch it. :) Donna
