Publishing RSS feeds in am2 Can't Post

Hi everyone,

I set up artman 2 in a test environment under my old install. My issue is I created a new publish rule and I used.

<catFile> . xml to name the files, but this isnt going to work because i used the category name, instead of the filename to build my old rss feeds.

For example.

car ads.xml <version 1 pubcron>
is now
car_ads.xml <version 2 using <catFile>

Is there any way to use the Category name instead of the filename? like <catFile> I tried <catName> but no luck.

Hi there!

Just to check... you want to have Article Manager publish a file with a space in it? I would recommend strongly against that -- it's not likely to work in all RSS readers or web browsers. In general, you don't want to have file names with spaces in them, as they tend to cause problems with all sorts of things.

thats how the rss were set up orginally.

So what i might do is set up redirects for those people using the older files when i move over.

thanks,

That'd probably be a good idea. :) You definitely want to move away from having spaces in your filenames, if you can. :)
