I want to have an image appear on my home page which is outside of AM2. This image will be linked to my coverstory. How would I do this?

Thank you bunches Donna,
I read the article on summary images. The page where I want this displayed is outside of AM2. How do I call parts of this summary to be displayed on separate parts of my external homepage?
I wanna take the summary image and display it in box A,
I wanna take the summary from the same article and display it in box B
And the Title to be displayed in box c
Can I extract parts of an Article from a special category titled "Cover Story"?
Then I will sort by Date Last updated in reverse order to always have the most recent cover story displayed.
