Pasting content from Word into the WYSIWYG editor Can't Post

Hello again

This is my second post in a day. Oh dear! Moderator please move to Feature suggestions if this is too early to ask about

MikeB came up with a neat little add on for AM1 where it made it dead simple for us pasting from word into the wysiwyg editor

http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=46840;search_string=Pasting%20content%20from%20Word%20into%20the%20WYSIWYG%20editor%20;#46840

I am just asking if this can be done in AM2 and if so what template and bit of code do we change

Thanks guys and I know you must be haveing a real hard monday morning Unsure
Kind Regards

George

I haven't tried it, but I think you can do the same thing in Artman 2 by editing the [artman 2 webfolder]/javascript/loadWysiwyg.js file, down at line 127.

hi,
i was able to enable the button by editing the loadwysiwyg.js file in my htdocs\artman2\javascript folder.

look for the block of code with:

Code
 wysiwyg.features=[    // buttons to display

and add: ,"PasteWord" to the end of the line you want the button to appear on. make sure it's contained by the closing

Code
];

to make it work.

the whole list of buttons seems to be in the htdocs\artman2\wysiwyg\scripts\editor.js file in the code block beginning with:

Code
  this.buttonMap=[

you don't make changes in this editor.js file though. just look for the text to call the button you want in the toolbar.

i hope this helps.

p.s. damon from interactive tools support replied earlier today about including the flash button. if i had waited until today i would have saved myself hours of poking around last week. at least i know now that loadwysiwyg.js is the correct file to edit!
