Password Protected Pages

Does Article Manager have the capability of password protecting some pages of the site. For example, we want to add a registration area for a site but only want to allow people to register if they have been given a login and password to access the registration page. Security is also an issue as this part of the site needs to be secure. Can this be done with Article Manager? Thanks, Connie

Hi Connie, Thanks for posting! While Article Manager isn't set up to do any password protection itself, this should be something you can set up using an external script. The software publishes it's articles to a specific folder (or folders) on the server so you should just be able to password protect any of the folders that you wouldn't like visitors to be able to access. I've heard of quite a few of our customers using aMember to password protect folders on their site but you should be able to use any password protection script that will allow you to choose specific directories on the server. I hope this helps! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
