What a pain in the #$$$%&%^* This is not a fun experience as the DOCS section on the WEbsite is only for AM 1, not AM 2. Got that with a phone call. Then I set all the permissions exactly as outlined and get this message in the Install after entering the license key... "Error: Couldn't rename file! Permission denied at (eval 108) line 21." What do I do now..? So far this is very poorly prepared information for Installing AM 2...

Wow, Found my own fix, as you cannot call in for help. The Instructions are wrong in the DOCS. You need Modify permissions on the cgi-bin\artman2\data folder when using IIS.

Glad you got it working! Let us know if you have any other questions, we're here to help! Sorry if the docs weren't clear about what "writable" meant on Windows. We'll be updating that shortly! Dave Edis - Senior Developer interactivetools.com

Wow, Found my own fix, as you cannot call in for help. In general, for technical issues forum or email is best, but we do provide tech support over the phone as well, if possible. Thanks for posting your experience, I've updated the installation docs to better represent windows permissions: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/articlemanager2/install/index.html Theo Wiersma Project Manager
