I need help finding a "shopping cart" for my site Can't Post

I have a site under development using AM2. The site is just about to go live (www.robbunkerracing.com) but I want to add a simple lightweight shopping cart. Initially, the cart would allow visitors to order autograph cards and other free items but eventually we want to offer licensed products (t-shirts, etc.) for sale so the cart will need to accomodate credit card, PayPal, etc payments.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks!

Hi there.

We aren't really experts on shopping carts ourselves but I have seen and used some PayPal shopping carts in the past so that might be something you'll want to look into.

Of course, it would awesome if anyone has some other suggestions for us Smile.

In the past I've used CandyPress - www.candypress.com - its a ASP based shopping cart but works really well and very similar to Article Manager for customising.

It works with Paypal, Google checkout and a few other big payment gateways.

If you just want to start with basic e-commerce facilities and possibly a shopping cart then you could use the free PayPal tools. Login to your PayPal account and select 'Merchant Tools' from the menu at the top of the page.

Your customers don't need a paypal account to use paypal payment systems, they can choose to pay by credit card.

If you want something more complicated then take a look at OS Commerce (www.oscommerce.com) It's free and opensource.
