Hello All, I'm trying to figure out how to use different article templates for different categories. In the old AM, you could designate which article template you wanted to use for each category. How do I do change the article template I want to use for each category in AM2?

Hi. I think you should make an Publishing Rule for every category. You can copy the " Article Pages" rule and give it a new name, then you can select which category you what for each category. Staff, correct me if I'm have understood it wrong.

Hi. Thanks for posting! There are two main ways I can think of using different templates on your site for articles. The first way is the one Klausre had suggested. You would setup one publish rule for each different type of article. The other way would be to use some template ifs to have the page display different depending on what category you are looking at. The way I would decide which way to go is be figuring out how different each template needs to be. If it's just a few basic changes on each one then the template if's will be much better. If the page is completely different for each category, you'll want to go with multiple publish rules. How does that sound? Let me know which option you wanted to go with and I"ll go over it in more detail I look forward to hearing from you . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
