Okay I have gone live with AM2, and everything seems to be working smoothly. Is it safe to delete the AM1 cgi folders and all the articles that were created by that version now? From what I can see there's nothing being called from the old version as all the articles have been renamed and republished. Colin Wrestling-Online.com

Wow, glad to hear you're all fixed up with Article Manager 2! Do you have a link to your site we can look at? It sounds like you're good to go, but I'd still recommend you backup your Artman 1 data, templates, and uploads folders before deleting them from your web server. As long as you have those files, you can always roll back if necessary. Theo Wiersma Project Manager

Ok the main page http://www.wrestling-online.com/ - which is not part of an AM template - calls three publishing rules. One is the Latest News, which is called through the category headlines template. The other one is the Top Story feature, which is a custom rule pulling the first article from AM and displaying it on the main page. And Columns, which is the same as Latest news but columns from our writers. All these three are called via an IFRAME tag so I keep the same table height/width. Then the News page where AM2 comes into work is at http://www.wrestling-online.com/news/ . There's also a flash newsticker at the top calling the latest headlines from an XML document also generated by AM2. This comes in handy when browsing other articles not on the main page. Oh yeah and there's also a mobile version of the news at http://mobile.wrestling-online.com which is like a printer friendly format template so it loads fast on mobile devices and cut costs from downloading :)

Wow, that has really come together fast. It's great to see you making your own Publishing Rules for the "mobile" version and newsticker! Theo Wiersma Project Manager
