Custom fields not working in page title

I just installed AM2 and ran the upgrade script. Everyone is working now except in the page titles. Instead of showing the data for the field, it says: [unknown placeholder $article.art_field3$] These same placeholders work just fine elsewhere on the page. Thanks!

Hi LawyerFind, Thanks for the post , If i understand your problem correctly you may be trying to display the title for the article page.I think the $article.art_field3$ tag are used for displaying the article in article manager 1.Instead could you please have a try with the following code <!-- templateIf : $article.title$ ne "" --> $article.title$ <!-- /templateIf --> where $article.title$ is the tag for displaying the title present in article manager 2 . I hope this will help Cheers Divya

They are actually custom fields that exported over fine from AM1. They work fine in the body, but don't show in the title tag.

Hi LawyerFind, Thanks for the post! At the moment I'm not sure why the placholder would work okay in the body of your articles but not in the title sections, what you may want to do is send in a support request with your ftp details, this way I'll be able to connect with your server and take a look at what's happening here. :) You can fill out a suppor request here: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi Does this help LawyerFind? I look forward to hearing back from you soon! Cheers, Chet Woodside - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
