Content Box disappears when WYSIWYG box is ticked?

In Artman Version 2.02 (installed on Windows 200 server) the content box disappears from editing view when the WYSIWYG box is ticked. The alternative appears to be a simple HTML text box - no option to switch as in Version 1. Obviously we can't unleash this on our contributors as not many have HTML expertise. Settings: Javascript is enabled on the client and all the JS files appear to be present. Same behaviour with IE 6.0.28 or Firefox 2.0 running on NT or Windows 2000 - i.e. 3 different client machines with security varying from medium to low. The content box appears to be a 'hidden' field and viewing source (of the page displayed in the article editor page) shows that the data is actually present albeit hidden. Anyone else come across this? Any solutions? One line in the javascript source in the page above has this item: onLoad="fixDisappearedWysiwygContent() Just wondering if this has anything to do with it :)

Hi there. Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! The first thing I'll get you to do here is head over to our main website and fire up an online demo for Article Manager 2. Once it's up, could you see if the editor is coming up for you there? If it is, then the problem is going to be related to your installation. If it isn't coming up though, it's going to be browser related and I'll need to put some more thought into it. Now, if we narrow it down to being your installation, could you log into Article Manager and go to Admin->Server Settings. Here, you'll see a field labeled WYSIWYG Folder URL. Make sure the path there is a relative URL to your editor's folder. Here's an example of what I mean by a relative path. Let's say the full URL for your folder is something like this: http://www.yoursite.com/artman2/wysiwyg the relative path there will be /artman2/wysiwyg/ notice how I just chopped off the domain name part? You'll want to do this as well. If that doesn't get you going, try uploading the whole wysiwyg folder to your server again. And if that doesn't get you going, I'll need to have a closer look so you'll want to fill out a support request: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi Either way, I look forward to hearing from you so keep me up to date with how you are making out . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Ok - can see the WYSIWYG editor and content box in the demo. The relative part seems to be correct - (actually get an error message trying to add in the full domain name in case that was the cause!). Will try uploading again and report back.

Yup that did it - just ftped everything up again and it worked - must have been a glitch in the ftp. Good stuff. Many thanks!
