Category headlines clarification/? Can't Post

Just clarying/checking two things:

I finally broke my 100++ categories down into
25 main categories, and the rest as subcategories.

Question 1:

never mind. - I solved it as best i can.

Question #2: How do I call the templates (MENU) like:
(Where I put the $ I know the correct code)

Home > $category$ > Subcategory >

?

That way, people can always go up a level, WITHOUT showing all other topics/subtopics on the page?

(Short/category/subcategory menu I'm talking here for that area's related topics).

I don't want it to "just" appear as:
Home > Subcategory.

The answer to this is in your PUBLISHING RULES for each category template.

Hi Amber!

Yep, as Jonny mentioned, you can change what categories show up by looking in the publish rule creating your category menus. You can customize the menu format as much as you need. :)

"publish rule creating your category menus"

I'm sorry.

I know how to make most things work, I recognize most plugins etc., but is there perhaps some step-by-step to tackle this?

The only thing I've tackled with publishing rules (after trial and error from a tutorial) is to set custom page templates for specific categories.

Because each setup is going to be a little different... it's really not possible to give a step-by-step without seeing how YOUR site is setup. :)

However, if you want to drop us an email with your login information (support@interactivetools.com) we can take a look at that and see what we can come up with. :)
