According to the manual, Firefox 1.0+ should work fine using WYSIWYG. I use 1.5.09 and it does not work. The text area shows up, but I cannot write inside. No problems with IE 7. Please advise.

It is working. The cursor didn't start blinking when I clicked inside the field. I found out this am that if I click inside and just type one letter, it starts blinking. Well.... irritating... but as long as there's way around it, I don't complain. Thanks guys!

Firefox does the same thing in a couple other CS systems also.

Hi everyone! Thanks for this thread! I hadn't noticed that before but I guess I wasn't really ever looking . I'll keep an eye out for it and see if that's something we can get the editor folks to take a look at for us. Let me know if you notice anything else . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Something I had reported awhile back is that when using Firefox you can not insert a table unless you first click within the space and type some letter. It doesn't matter what letter. It could even be a space. Then you can backspace to get rid of it. After that you can insert the table. If you attempt to insert a table without typing a letter first a table does appear. But you can not type anything within the table. And clicking on View/Edit Source shows that no table has actually been inserted.

Hi there, The WYSIWYG editor is actually a third party software package, so we don't have a heck of a lot of control over that. However, I'll let the makers of the editor (Innova) know about the issue. :) In the meantime, it sounds like you've found a pretty easy workaround for it! :) Donna
