Article Fields in AM2

Hi all, I would like to ask you a question about the fields in Article Manager 2. I am using a search engine, and I have specified a keyword and a field. To use the keyword, it's easy because I just write "keyword=word", but I have some problems with the field. With the previous version of Article Manager, I wrote "field=art_field10" for example, but now, this does not work anymore and my search engine is searching in all fields for the specified keyword. I suppose the term "field" does not exist anymore in the new version. What's the exact term I have to write there so it will work? Greetz, Pirata

Hi Pirata. Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! You can still do keyword searching on specific fields. The only thing is that the syntax changed a little in the new system. What you'll be looking for here is something like this: /search.cgiaction=search&keywordSearchFields=title&keyword=lorem That will search just the title field for the keyword lorem. You can add addition fields to that by separating them with commas. The field names are actually the same as the placeholder you setup for them in the table editor. Does that make sense? Give it a shot and let me know how you make out :). ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
