Admin Page Load Time Out

I have a client who suffers consistent page load time-out issues when using the administration functions in AM2. The server has 200GB of space and he has used only 13% of the server and there are no server health problems. His personal computer has page cache set at 1024. I have attempted to validate the problem from other connections to the web outside his establishment and I'm unable to generate any page time-out errors. However, each time I access the AM2 administration from our client’s office, it times-out. Today we tested three other computers within his office with two separate Internet providers and received consistent errors - they all time-out on administration access or upon saving a story. I’m at odds as I cannot generate the error outside the client’s office and no one seems to know what else to do – any suggestions from anyone within this forum would be helpful - Thanks!

Hi nmsinc, Since this problem only shows up in one location, the cause of it is likely in that office as you've already determined. If they're using any hardware routers, you may want to check to see if they have a built-in firewall or other security features set up there which could be interfering with Article Manager's operation. Essentially, you'll want to look for things of this nature - points in the network that all traffic might go through. You may also want to try accessing an online demo of Article Manager from there to see if that triggers the problem as well: http://www.interactivetools.com/cgi/go.cgi?http://demo1.interactivetools.com/setup.cgi?demo=artman_demo Let us know if you have any other questions. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
