Re: [DBurns] Admin > Server Setting - Admin Email [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there,

Thanks for your post. :)

That'll be the return address on any email notifications that you set Article Manager to send out. For example, if Article Manager is configured to send an email to a specific user every time a new article is created, the "From" address will be whatever you've set in the admin.

I hope this helps!

Re: [Donna] Admin > Server Setting - Admin Email [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks Donna,

I might need a little furthur clarification. I don't know if I might be reading the admin panel incorrectly or misunderstanding your reply.

Looking at the Server Settings page what you have decribed seems to correspond to the "Sender Name" and "Sender Email" fields. Below these two fields is an "Admin Email" field. Could you please clarify the difference between these two email fields.

Thanks
Darren

Re: [DBurns] Admin > Server Setting - Admin Email [In reply to] Can't Post

Oops. Sorry, Darren -- that'll teach me to answer a question without actually looking at the bit that I'm responding to. :) You're right, the "sender" address is what will show up in the From address. However, the "Admin" address will show up in the default article notification template where it says "Please contact [insert admin address here] if you no longer want to receive these messages."

It also appears on the "About this program" page from the login screen.

I hope this helps. :)
