Add the placeholders above it like this: Can't Post

When I am on a category page, the following message can be seen in the header:

Add the placeholders above it like this:

How do I remove this message?

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe

Thanks for posting!

I am not quite sure what's happening here so I was wondering if you could post up a link to your site so I can see that text. I am thinking that it will just be some extra coding on your template that we can just remove but there are few different templates that it could be. Once I have had a look, I should be able track down which template and we'll go from there.

How does that sound? I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the extra details!

Are you looking to edit the text that reads "This website is currently under construction Please check back soon for reviews on books, music, CD's, DVD's and much more" ?

If so you'll find that this text is actually part of your "topbanner.gif" image, what you'll want to do here is edit this image so that the text is no longer there. :)

Does this help Joe? If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

The text was there before I added the image, that was only added this morning.

I looked in the header code, but didn't see the text anywhere, this is all I see:

<!-- templateComment -->
<!-- Header for Template View -->
<!-- This header is only output when you view the template file directly in the browser. -->

<head>
<link href="../singlePages/styleSheet.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<!-- /templateComment -->

<link href="$published.styleSheet.webpath$" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="$my.siteName:textOnly:htmlEncoded$ $my.siteDescription:textOnly:htmlEncoded$" href="$published.globalRSS.webpath$" />
</head>
</head>

<body>

<a name="top"></a>

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding=10 width="100%" class="bg_header" style="background-color: #336699"><tr>
<td>

<p align="center">
<img border="0" src="http://www.wotsoutnow.com/images/topbanner.gif" align="left" width="800" height="137"></td>
</tr></table>

Hi there,

Nope, it's definitely in the image file -- take a look at the image directly here:

http://www.wotsoutnow.com/images/topbanner.gif

There's no text, that's the image alone. :)

Did you happen to follow this tutorial?

Meta Tags

If so, perhaps you included the instructions along with the code.

I took a look at the pic alone and it didn't have the black text above it about placeholders.

I think you may have it there wimberb, I did add that.
