AM duplicating some content Can't Post

I created a new article, viewed the source and created a <form> by hand-coding the HTML.

When I publish the article and view it I find that article manager has duplicated the form so that I now have two identical ones.

I've tried copy and pasting a form script into AM and this does the same.

Is there an easy way to add a form into AM without duplicating the content or am I doing something wrong?

thanks

Hi there.

Thanks for posting!

Could you post up the form code you are using and list the steps you use to add it into your articles? I know you can add just about any kind of content you like so I'll go through the same process you are and see if it works for me with my internal demos. From there, I can see what options there are to get things going again.

Just out of curiosity, was there a link to your site I could have a look at to see the form being duplicated?

I look forward to hearing from you :).

I am having a similar problem...

It seems that AM2.02 is occasionally duplicating the text in the "Content" field. I haven't been able to nail this down, but I believe that it is occuring when you switch between the standard article view and "full screen".

This has occured on a several articles on two different machines for a couple of different users. Both machines are running IE 6.0.2900....

I've tried various things like having text copied to the system clipboard when toggling back and forth between views, having text selected while toggling, etc... opening, editing and resaving the files multiple times. I have been able to reproduce the problem, but have not narrowed it down to a specific cause / steps to reproduce.

The the following article for an example: http://www.kumonofnorthsurrey.com/faqs/index.shtml

Oops I forgot I even posted this

Yes it happens to me when switching between full and normal screen (not all the time though).

I also noticed my forms were duplicating because of the google toolbar. The second form, when viewing the code, contained all google's 'autofill' information.

I'm on IE7 btw.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the follow-up!

I'm thinking that this one would be best handled through a support request with ftp details, this way we could access your server and take a look at how everything is set-up. You can send us a support request using the link below:

How does this sound Patrick? I look forward to hearing back from you soon!
