8. Run Program under "Installing the Program"?

Greetings to all from a new member. What exactly is the procedure to "run the program" according to number 8 on the "Installing the program" page instructions? I have already tried: http://mysite.com/artman2/admin.cgi and nothing comes up to finish the final steps of the installation. Its just a blank page. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks in advance for your help. TnMountainMan

Hi TnMountainMan, If you aren't seeing anything when trying to access the admin.cgi file in your browser (which is the correct procedure here), you may want to make sure that all of the permissions settings have been set correctly for the Article Manager files, especially "admin.cgi" and "search.cgi". The permissions settings are outlined on that same documentation page: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/articlemanager2/install/index.html You may also want to double-check that CGI scripts are enabled in your hosting control panel. If you still can't get this working, send us a second-level support request and we can take a look at the problem for you: http://www.interactivetools.com/support/ Don't hesitate to contact us. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi Jake, I apoligize for not updating this thread. I had missed two of the file permision changes. AM2 is now installed, but I cannot get the wysiwyg editor to work. I have gone through all the steps on the WYSIWYG editor troubleshooting page and I still get the red notice, Note: There was an error loading the WYSIWYG rich text editor. The following content can be viewed but not modified. What could I possibly do to remedy this situation? I've also sent a second level support request. Thank you and I appreciate your help.
