I have a client wanting me to add several domain aliases to his current domain. Will this have any negative affects on his search engine rankings? Thanks, Webmac

Hi Webmac, This will depend on what you do with the domain aliases. What is the clients plan for them? Cheers Croydon

Hi Webmac, Thanks for the post! As Croydon mentioned I think the domain aliasing and it's effect on search engines really depends on how the site will be set up. If you can go into a bit more detail about this I'd be happy to a bit of research and see how this might work. I look forward to hearing from you and if you have any other questions in the meantime, just let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

If you are on Apache, 301 them and don't use any javascript, framing or temporary redirect solutions. (In other words, don't let the same content be seen on more than one page.) _____ Steve
