search engines still display old title

Hello, I changed my title tag 2 days ago (the site is www.effi.com), and when you do a Google search on "Effi", the old title still comes up, and the correct URL shows up. I tried other search engines and it's the same problem. Can someone tell me how to get my new title to show up in searches? Thanks much Effie

Hi Effie. Thanks for posting and welcome to board! I can’t claim to be an expert with search engines but in my experience the more text and links you have on your page, the better Google is going to like it. From what I can see on your site, it’s done entirely in Flash so there isn’t a whole lot of text on the page itself. Try adding some text to the page to see if that gets you going. Of course, you could also try contacting Google and asking them to have a look. They will obviously be better at tracking that sort of thing down than I am . If anyone else has any tips, that would be great as well. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Effie, An elegant site and a pity to change it. To see what Google has on file for your HOME page click on the URL = cache:http://www.effi.com/ You can see other pages with cache:page URL Google visits a site only when the page changes. It does not visit daily. Your site is rather special and seeking advice from Google would be worthwhile. Nick
