Hi! May I ask you people at Interactivetools.com about your experience with SB dedicated servers? Infact, I am looking for a good company. Will appreciate your reply.

Hi almas, Thanks for the post! So far we're satisfied with Server Beach, but it's important to note that it's a self-managed service, so the majority of server admin duties fall on the customer. If you're looking for information about some other web hosts you may want to take a look at this thread on our website: Looking for a great hosting provider Quite a few people have posted here with details about the hosting plan their own, both dedicated and shared. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions feel free to let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Thanks Mike for your reply. I will appreciate your further reply for a little bit info on what is required to be done by the customer in self-managed subscription? We have experience of VPS and cPanel, is it enough to handle SB dedicated servers or need some more in-depth knowledge. Best regards, Irfan

cPanel experience might be enough, Irfan, but to do a lot of the things that we've wanted with our servers, I've had to do a lot of manual modifications of apache configuration files. I've had some experience with Unix commands through an SSH shell previously, so it wasn't completely new. If you look over the forums at Server Beach you'll see that there are quite a variety of users, and it might give you an idea of some of the issues that they run into. Server Beach will install cPanel for you, if you purchase that package, so it depends on how confident you feel running all the operations you need to through that software. The best thing to do would be to talk to them, and find out exactly where your responsibilities would be and what types of support would be available with their "ticket" system (which is $15 per ticket). They're quite happy to chat by phone or over their Live Assistance. I hope this helps, Ifran. Theo Wiersma Project Manager

Thanks Theo for your reply, it is quite helpful. We just have to run few web site to be built on AM but might be having good traffic, we will discuss our requirement with SB people, but we asked you to get a user's response and experience to understand that company. As usual, you people are always helpful and we are thanksful for such a professional support even for subjects out of your business interests. Thanks & regards, Irfan
